We are a group of extensively trained and experienced pediatric physicians and nurse practitioners, offering comprehensive primary care to infants, children and adolescent patients through high school. We work as a team, with a unified philosophy of medical practice. We consult with one another on a regular basis and want you to feel comfortable with each of us. We are parents ourselves, and seek to provide care with the degree of professionalism and compassion we would expect for our own children and families. We strive for a mutually respectful and thriving partnership with your family, with a common ultimate goal: your child’s health and wellbeing.
At Ellenton Pediatrics, parents can be assured that their children will receive the individual, personalized attention they deserve. We care about both the emotional and physical needs of our young patients and their families. During your visits, we will discuss not only the physical health of your child, but other age-appropriate issues such as social adjustment, safety, growth and development, discipline, sleep habits, nutrition, behavioral, emotional and learning problems. We will work with families, teachers, school nurses and other medical providers and specialists to help identify and treat the multitude of challenges which children face as they grow.
Children are not simply small adults. When they are ill, they often present different symptoms and need different prescriptions and treatments than adults do. Our medical training, experience and collaboration in care are designed to help us recognize something more serious when we see it, and know when to reassure a parent and child when it is not. We place emphasis on providing you with information that is clear and comprehensive, and in involving you in all the decisions relating to the care of your child.

Please have your pharmacy call, fax, or send an electronic request to Ellenton Pediatrics for medication refills.
Our primary concern is your child’s safety. This involves reviewing your child’s chart and checking with the provider before a prescription can be refilled. Please give us at least 48 hours advance notice of your refill needs. Medication refills for ADHD, asthma, and other chronic conditions may require a repeat visit with one of our pediatric providers.
Our secured, HIPAA-compliant Patient Portal allows you to access your child’s key health information recorded during your visits, growth charts, immunization history, prescriptions, diagnostic test results and more. Guardians can update demographic and contact information, view upcoming appointment time and date, and request prescription refills or school entry forms. Please feel free to register as a new patient and a member of our staff will contact you. If you are an existing Ellenton Pediatrics patient, please contact us and a member of our staff will provide you with the information needed to begin using the patient portal.
