Office Visits

By Appointment Only
Patient appointment times are available between 8:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our telephone receptionist is available starting at 8 a.m. to schedule appointments. To make an appointment, call our office at 941-723-7877. Be sure to take a photo identification and your insurance card with you to the appointment.

Sick children needing appointments will be seen on the day the appointment is requested. Because we must leave appointment space available for ill children, please schedule well-child appointments well in advance.

Your child typically will be seen for well-child exams at the following ages:

  • 1 to 2 weeks
  • 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 months
  • Once a year beginning at age 2 until age 18

If you cannot keep an appointment please call us at least one day in advance to cancel. Please consider that missed appointments may mean that others experience delays in seeing the physician. A charge may be applied after two appointments are missed.

If you have a change in address, phone number or insurance information, please notify our receptionist. All patients less than 16 years of age and all new patients must be accompanied by a parent or authorized adult guardian.

Phone: 941-723-7877     Fax: 941-723-7844

Our primary concern is safety and assuring proper medicines for your child. This involves reviewing your child’s chart and checking with the physician before a prescription can be refilled. Please give us at least two or three days’ advance notice of your refill needs. Refills for ADHD medications or other chronic medicines may require a repeat visit with the pediatrician.
